The Prophet Muhammad s.a.w. is reported to have said to follow up a bad deed with a good one, because the good deeds erase the bad deeds. I was putting away some clothes and realized that wow this is a good deed! I renewed my intention and decided that I need to do that more often so that I have a lot of good deeds on my plate inshaAllaah. I need these good deeds, and I need them to be consistent.
When the believer is in the grave, a handsome person will be his or her companion. The believer will ask who this person is, and he or she will be told that it is their good deeds. SubhanAllaah.
